Course Information
Spend time with our Lead Staff and Dr. Leahy in a private course setting with our redesigned Master's ART Course. The masters course is organic in such a way of revisiting pieces from Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity and Spine courses. This course is considered to be intermediate level, and will build on the prior three courses. Utilization of the techniques refined during this course have been reported to enhance the understanding and use of diagnostic algorithm and palpation techniques.

Palpation techniques are utilized to learn the state of tissues and joints in order to train providers in the ability to identify healthy versus unhealthy tissue. A diagnostic algorithm as well as a knowledge of biomechanics are combined with palpation in order to correctly identify muscle and tissue structures involved in the issue to allow correct identification of which structures need to be treated. Manual techniques are utilized to move the tissues and joints while under tension. The system allows for relative motion between the tissues and articulations. Evaluation and treatment occur simultaneously.

The course emphasizes the manipulation of the neuro-musculoskeletal system to diagnose and correct alterations in tissue texture, tension, movement, and function at a higher level of compenency. All diagnosis and treatment protocols are designed to correct these alterations, assist in making articular adjustements easier to accomplish, and to shorten the treatment regimen required to resolve a case.

Class size is limited to 12.
